Honeymoon - Mexico

Amongst the chaos of planning the perfect wedding and as a couple who love to travel we wanted to ensure that our Honeymoon would be just as memorable and perfect as our wedding day itself. From the get go we decided that we wanted to prioritise our dream honeymoon over other things such as wedding shoes, a photo booth and wedding cars. We crossed all of those things off of our to do list so that we could put the extra money towards our time away.

Deciding where to go on our honeymoon was a lot easier than we first anticipated. As much as we love relaxing by a pool and having cocktails on the beach we also wanted to go somewhere where we could get out and about. We went into our local travel agent and described exactly what we were after. Somewhere we we had a choice of relaxing and adventure. She immediately suggested Mexico or a Safari trip to Africa. We have ALWAYS talked about going on safari however we were left with the choice of 2 weeks in Mexico or 4 days on Safari (as safari is SO expensive.) From that point on our hearts were set on Mexico and I don't regret it at all as it lived up to everything we dreamed of and more.
