The Legal Bit

So, whilst I’ve been talking a lot about our wedding day and the preparation leading up to it, it is not actually the day that Albert and I will get legally married. Of course, we are going to treat it as our wedding day in every single way, but it doesn't mean that by law we will be married.

Due to it being slightly more complicated to do the legal bit on our wedding day as we want a christian ceremony lead by a pastor from our church, we always knew that we would have to have a legal ceremony to certify our marriage first by the law. We decided to do something as low-key as possible and that we would share with just our immediate families and lets face it, who wouldn't have 2 weddings if they were given the choice.

We went to the local registry office with our nearest and dearest to mark this occasion so that our marriage is registered. All that was left was to head back to a local pub so that we could make a toast to the occasion and celebrate. Again!
